Interment will be in St. John Berchmans Cemetery in Cankton. Deacon David Menard will officiate at the services.
Mr. Boudreaux was a native of Lafayette and a lifelong resident of Cankton. He was employed in the oilfield all of his life. Mr. Boudreaux, affectionately known as "Peep", enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, tending to his garden and cooking for his family. Peeps greatest joy was spending time with his grandsons.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Junette Boudreaux of Cankton; one son, Brent Boudreaux and his wife, Monique; one daughter, Shonia Long and her husband, David, all of Bristol; his grandsons, Gage Boudreaux and Gunner Long; one brother, Robert Boudreaux; brother-in-law, Francis Hebert of Mire; and sister-in-law Gretta Hebert of Mire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston Boudreaux, Sr. and the former Dorothy Prejean; and one sister, Patsy Boudreaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. Friday until service time on Friday.
Pallbearers will be Brent Boudreaux, Gage Boudreaux, David Long, Robert Boudreaux, Scotty Hebert, and David Trahan.
