Sarah Darlene Padgett was born July 28,1955 in Crossville, Tn to A.G. Padgett Sr & Avo Todd Padgett. She was 1 of 19 children. She passed at home with her brother Millard Padgett and daughter Tasha McCann at her side March 16, 2023 in Polk City, Florida. Darlene was an amazing seamstress and worked many years at Rivars Custom Apparel in Albany,In and Jay Garment in Portland, In. She also made many fancy dresses for her daughter and niece's.
Survivors include her Daughter Tasha McCann (ED) , & Son Wayne Vaughn. 10 siblings Millard Padgett, Roy Padgett (Wanza) John Padgett (Sheri), Sam Padgett, Jimmy Padgett, Van Padgett (Rose), Mary Padgett, Ethel Lester (Paul), Trisha Brosher (Rick), & Ruth Vaughn (Minnis) and 2 grandchildren Natalie and Noah.
In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By her 4 Sisters, Agnes Wooton, Ella And Della Padgett; Ada Masters And 4 Brothers, R.T. Padgett, Don Padgett, Lee Padgett, And A.G. Padgett Jr.
At Sarah's request there will be no funeral services. She will be cremated and her ashes will be buried at her daddy's grave at the Weeks Cemetery in Muddy Pond, Tn.
