Earl Roscoe Edens, 74 years of age, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formally of Pulaski County, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, March 12th, 2008.
Earl was born in Mintonville, Kentucky on July 23rd, 1933, son of the late William Luther and Elizabeth Dorene "Betty" Dye Edens.
Earl was survived by his loving companion, Donna Spenny; one son, William "Willie" (and Marie) Edens; one daughter, Sherry (and Gary) Haist; one brother, Denny Edens; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Bill Spenny; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Edens, who departed this life on July 17th, 1986 and Betty Edens, who departed this life on January 7th, 1959; one son, Alvin Wayne Edens; and three brothers, Larry "Budge" Edens, Robert Edens, and Jim Edens.
Visitations were held after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17th, 2008 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17th, 2008 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Richmond Cemetery.
