Roy A. Bailey, 71, passed away August 18, 2007 in his residence in Kutztown. He was born in Albany Township, Berks County, Pa., son of the late Harold H. Sr. and Marguerite L. (Kemmerling) Bailey. He was employed as an independent truck driver for 42 years, last being leased to drive for Champion Trucking Co., Chicago, Ill., until retiring in 2001. He was currently employed as a cashier for Redners Quick Mart, Maiden Creek, Pa. He was an Army veteran, having served in Germany, from 1955-59. He was a member of New Bethel Lutheran Church, Kempton. He was also a member of the Kempton Fire Company. Survivors: Includes two daughters, Tammy L. Bailey of Kutztown and Jacqueline A. Bailey of Temple, Pa.; sister, Alice M., wife of Warren Follweiler, of Kempton; five brothers, Harold H. Jimmy Bailey Jr. of Hamburg, Richard W. Bailey of Kempton, Glenn W. Bailey of Lenhartsville, Dale D. Bailey of Hamburg and Terry L. Bailey of Kempton; four grandchildren.
