Charles Dean Prather, 51, of Winona, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 11, 1964 to Richard and Elaine (Metz) Prather in Chariton, Iowa. Charles graduated from the Riverside Academy in 1982.
On June 27, 1996 he married the love of his life, Judy Hodge.
Charles worked for Michael's Lighting and Alliant Casting.
The thing he loved most was woodwork and tinkering in his garage.
Charles is survived by his wife of 20 years, Judy; children, Alex Prather, Stephanie Gabaree, Kim (Rick) Wicka, and Roth Walters; grandchildren, Spencer Hodge, Abby Wicka, Allison Walters, Journey Walters, and Julianna Gabaree; a sister, Rochelle (Dwight) Arnold; and brother Richard (Debbie) Prather.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Corinne Prather (70175282) and Kelly Krutsinger. (96223615)
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center with funeral celebrant Jenny Hoff officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service.
