Charlcie Beyersdoerfer, age 78, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 4, 2023, at her home. Born Friday, July 14, 1944, in Letcher County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Iva Irene Robbins Potter and the late Robert Clinton Dotson. Charlcie was the widow of the late Roy Richard Beyersdoerfer, Jr., whom she married Wednesday, October 25, 1961, and preceded her in death Monday, September 12, 2005. Charlcie previously worked at Stanford House Nursing Home and Fort Logan Hospital, as a nurse's aide. Charlcie was of the Baptist faith, loved spending time with her grandchildren, dog Benji, and her neighbors. Charlcie also was a big Elvis fan and enjoyed playing Bingo.

Charlcie leaves behind five daughters, Robin Beyersdoerfer of Stanford, Chelisa Foster of Stanford, Angie Shackleford (Donnie) of Stanford, Kelly Beyersdoerfer of Danville, Kentucky, and Kristie Phillippe (Casey) of Waynesburg, Kentucky; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Arnold Potter (Gail), Ralph Potter (Debra), and Arlie Junior Potter all of Pike County, Kentucky; one sister, Pam Belcher (Jeffrey) of Pike County; and many other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Charlcie was preceded in death by one daughter, Ronda Sears; her step-father, Arlie Potter, Sr.; grandparents that raised her, Floyd & Mary Robbins; three brothers, Richard Dotson, Robert Dotson, Jerry Potter; and one sister, Freda Potter.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the funeral home. Bro. Ken Hall will officiate the service.

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Richard Alford, Tyler Lamb, Josh Blount, Isaac Goodin, Blake Smith, Dalton Nickerson, Ryan Thompson, and Landon Smith will serve as Active Pallbearers.
