Abilene, Texas - Frances H. Sanchez passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope, 3349 N. 12th. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sanchez was born October 18, 1951, in Abilene, Texas to Manuel and Maria Herrera. She was a life long resident of Abilene and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Guadalupe S. Sanchez and wife Andrea of Abilene; a grandson she raised, Jason Sanchez of Abilene; daughters, Julia Sanchez of Dallas, Rachel Loredo and husband, Ismael of Abilene and Romelia Alaniz of California; three brothers, Luis, Cecil and Paul Herrera; five sisters, Lydia Ribera, Irene Hutton, Miranda Vasquez, Manuela Luna and Rose Mary Ybarra.

Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe "Pino" Sanchez.
