Mrs. Geraldine Florence Allegar Haver, 93, former resident of High Point, died May 1, 2023 at Westchester Manor.

She was born September 2, 1929 in Dunellen, New Jersey, a daughter to George and Florence Titus Allegar. In 1952, she married Russell Haver Jr. and, following his retirement in 1990, they moved to North Carolina.

Geraldine was of the Presbyterian faith and a lifetime homemaker. She was all about family and loved nothing more than spending time with her kids and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter June May, three sisters and one brother. Surviving are seven children; a sister; twenty two grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Rev. Tom Warren officiating. Memorials may be directed to Peace United Church of Christ solar fund at 2714 W. Market St. Greensboro, NC 27403.
