Horace E. Fullmer
BLACKFOOT--Horace E. Fullmer, 89, longtime rancher of the Blackfoot area, died Saturday at Bingham Memorial Hospital. he had been hospitalized 10 days after suffering a heart attack.
He was born July 31, 1895, in Mapleton, Utah, the son of Alonzo S. and Luelia Perry Fullmer. His family moved to Idaho when he was a young boy. He is a graduate of Ricks College and was a school teacher for many years.
He married Mary Pfost Jan. 25, 1918, in the Salt Leak City LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War I. He belonged to Elks Lodge 1416; and the American Legion.
He is survived by his widow, one son and four daugthers: Robert Fullmer, Pocatello; Mrs. Ralph (Edna) Hinman; and Mrs. L. C. (Jess) Faupell, Las Vegas; Mrs. B. T. (Donna) Shindurling, Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Lloyd (Ruby) Christensen, Blackfoot. One brother and three sisters also survive; Elias Fullmer, Springville, Utah; Mrs. Vera Larsen, Blackfoot; Mrs. Ella Hansen, Pocatello, and Mrs. Edith Altop, Fallon, Nev. There are 14 grandchildren. One son, Fred, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Sandberg-Hill Funeral Chapel. The family will meet friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
