Edward Legrande (sic), well known in this section, died late last Friday evening. He had been failing for some months and his death was not unexpected. He had reached the age of eighty-two years.
Mr. LeGrande is survived by a widow and eight children; Joseph, Edward, Mose[s] and Edmond LeGrande, Mrs. Joseph Spooner, Mrs. Lee Logan, Mrs. Lacede, Mrs. LaCroix and a younger child.
The funeral services were held in the Catholic church Sunday and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.
