Funeral services for Abraham Woodland (1857-1944), 87, who died yesterday at his home at Sun Garden after a long-time illness were held today at 10 a.m. at Decoy Church with Rev. Harmon Brooks officiating.

Burial was made in the Decoy Baptist Church Cemetery.

Besides the widow, Mrs. Ellen J. Woodland, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Ruth Fay Woodland. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday, 14 Feb 1944.)
