VICKIE LOU WARREN FLOWERS

Vickie Lou Warren Flowers, age 64, passed from this life into eternity with her Heavenly Father on April 19, 2023, in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on September 24, 1958, to the late Russell and Dean Warren. She was the youngest of three children. Vickie grew up in Pearl, MS, and moved to the Shiloh Community in Pelahatchie, MS, at the age of 13. She graduated with honors from East Rankin Academy in 1976, where she was an avid basketball player and then received an Associate in Arts degree from Hinds Community College in 1978. She held administrative positions over the years at Unifirst Savings and Loan, Laser Office Supply, CNN Railroad, Gentiva Home Health, and MS Food Network.

Vickie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored, and was adored by her nine grandchildren who called her "Honey" and could often be found watching them at their various sporting and performance events. Vickie was a loyal friend to many, and many considered her a dear friend. Her devotion to her loved ones and friends was unparalleled. She enjoyed traveling on her annual girls' trip, shopping, and spoiling her family. She will be remembered for her love of life and her generous heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors: Don Flowers; daughter Emily Jackson (Brian) of Hattiesburg; son Brad McDill (Carrie) of Madison, and stepson Anthony Flowers (Mandye) of Brandon; grandchildren Aiden, Camden and Carsen Flowers; Kate, Morgan, Stella and Russell Jackson; Annie and Bradley McDill; Brothers-in-law Ernie Flowers (Jackie), John Flowers (Cindy) and sister-in-law Evie Flowers and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Goolsby and sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Randy Robbins.

Vickie will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her, including her dogs Maggie and Jake. Visitation will be held Friday, April 21 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon from 5-7 pm and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 3:30 pm.
