James was born November 28, 1978, in Atlanta, GA to James and Barbara Bailey. James was preceded in death by his grandparents Ruby and Hugh Shelton and Lois and Jimmy Puryear; father, James Bailey; mother, Barbara Bailey; uncle, Jack Shelton.
Mikie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. He was an avid member of NRA.
