• Funeral for Sarah T. Williams, 103, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with the Reverend George H. Crain of Arlington, Texas, officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born April 15, 1898, in Wilson. She was raised and received her education in Love County. She married Reuben H. Williams on Dec. 16, 1917, and taught public school in Love County for three years while Mr. Williams was head master. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Wilson. She moved from Ardmore to the Bartlesville area in October 1997.She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Raymond and James Williams, a daughter, Fern Craighead; two great-grandsons, Royce Allen Read, and an infant baby boy.

She is survived by a son, Weldon M. Williams and his wife, LaVada, Dewey; a daughter-in-law, June Williams, Bartlesville; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in memory Mrs. Williams. Those wishing to contribute in lieu of flowers may do so to Carter Hospice, 9916 E. 43rd Road, Tulsa, OK 74146.

Service is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
