Keviv D. Dickson, 48, of Statesville, North Carolina, formerly of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statedsville, North Carolina.

Kevin was born April 30, 1959, in Lancaster, Ohio, where he made his home until accepted a management position in his adopted home of Statesville, North Carolina in 2001. He was a 1977 gtaduate of Lancaster High School and School Colors were Purple and Gold.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Leon and Carolyn Dickson of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers, Gregory (Debbie) Dickson of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Michael (Kelly) Dickson of Baltiore, Ohio; and sister, Michelle Dickson of Lancaster, Ohio; His "Children" were his nieces, Dianna, Jennifer and Taylor; nrphews, Joshua, Andrew and Matthew; and great-nephews, Brice and Julian. He also is survived by many aunts , uncles and cousins.

He will be greatly missd by his family, many friends and his fellow associates from his 30 years career at J.C. Penny.

He was raised as a member of First English Lutheran Church. His interests included golf, The Bucket League and his fantasy baseball league of 20 years. Kevin enjoyed life tremendously, especially as a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds,and most frustratingly the Cincinnai Bengals.

Sevices will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 305 North Columbus Street, Lancaster, Ohio, with minister Bob Heston officiating.

Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
