"Patty--At the family home on East Marion street, Salem, at 8:40 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 1894, Levena Patty, aged 62 years.

Deceased had been ill for the past two years, and after four days being confined to her bed, the disease culminated in the form of inflammation of the stomach.

Mrs. Patty is the widow of W.R. Patty who died at the same home three years ago. She was born in Clay county, Missouri and came to Oregon in 1875. With the exception of two years in Dallas she spent her remaining days in Salem. Mrs. Patty was much respected and beloved by a large number of friends and acquaintances in this city and was especially noted for her many acts of charity and benevolence. She leaves two sons, Clell, and Albert Nash, both of this city and a daughter, Mrs. Lola M. Cox of Grants Pass.
