Mr. Meeks was born December 26, 1905 in Milam County to John Edmund Meeks and Hattie Granzer. Mr. Meeks was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Margaret in October 24, 1996.
He is survived by 2 sons, Rev. Delphyn J. Meeks of Mauriceville and Clifford Meeks and wife, Patsy of Pearland; a brother, Raymond Meeks of Cameron; a sister, Bonnie Henkle of Ft. Worth; and 1 grandchild.
