From POST REGISTER (IDAHO FALLS, ID) - 5 AUGUST 2008:
Ardella Faye Berry, 78, of Tetonia, died Saturday, August 2, 2008, at Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Driggs.
She was born June 9, 1930, in Victor, Idaho, to Walter and M. Bernice McBride Atkinson.
On July 28, 1948, she married John C. "Jack" Berry in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He passed away May 26, 2001.

She lived her entire life in the Teton Valley. She held many callings in the LDS church. She was a president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, coached girls softball, was a 4-H leader and won many ribbons for her baked goods at the county fair; she volunteered many hours at the Teton Valley Hospital Auxiliary and Teton Valley Museum. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, huckleberry picking, fishing, traveling, her flower garden and spending time with her family. Ardella loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports and rarely missed an event.

She is survived by her children, John C. (Mary) Berry Jr. of Rexburg, Richard (Karolyn) Berry of Tetonia, Ronald (Michelle) Berry of Tetonia, Ann (Rod) Bullock of Welling, Alberta, Canada, and Kristine (Jeff) Pratt of Freedom, Wyoming; siblings, LeRoy (Charlene) Atkinson of Gilbert, Arizona, Don (Kristi) Atkinson of Hagerman, Steve (Jo) Atkinson of Casper, Wyoming, Keith (Jackie) Atkinson of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Helen (Weston) Ripplinger of Driggs; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Bert Atkinson; daughter, Elizabeth Berry; and granddaughter, Angela Bullock.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at the Tetonia LDS church. A visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church and from 9 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. before services at the church. Burial will be in Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia under the direction of the Valley Mortuary in Driggs.
