David 'Oscar' Daffron, son of the late John and Pheba Jane Nasalroad Daffron, was born at Buffalo, MO, August 20, 1887, and entered eternity on January 27, 1976 at the age of eighty-eight years and five months.
In 1908, he married Letha Jane Palmer, who preceded him in death on December 13, 1926.
On October 12, 1929, he was married to Flora Peace who preceded him in death in 1964.
Surviving him are two sons and one daughter, Hubert Daffron (wife Goldia) of Alton, MO; Sherman Daffron (wife Helen) of Thomasville, MO; and O'Dean Sherrill (husband Milton) of Jackson, MS.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and one brother, Elmer Daffron of Wichita, KS.
He is preceded in death by one son Sebert, and many aunts, uncles, siblings, grandchildren, relatives, and friends that he expects to see in heaven.
He was a long time member of the Baptist Church at Thomasville.
His burial was at Huddleston Cemetery.
