Edna G. Cochrane, 100, of Princeton, Idaho.

Funeral services for Edna G. Cochrane, a centenarian and retired farmer, will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday at the Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse with the Rev. Kathy Williams of the Elmore United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will follow at the Freeze Cemetary north of potlach.

She died Saturday at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow of a heart attack. She was 100. She was born to Charles Elmer and Harriet Zieger Bunney on Dec. 25th, 1896, at Mascot Nebraska. Her family moved west to the Princeton, Idaho, area in 1905. She attended schools in Nebraska and the Princeton area.

She married Eugene Cochrane on May 14th, 1919, at Moscow and they lived in the Princeton area where they farmed and ranched. They retired from farming in the early 1960's and moved to potlach in 1965. Her husband died in 1965.

She was a member of the Princeton Grange, 81-year member of the Royal Neighbors of America at Potlach, the Princeton Community Club, the Rebekah Lodge in Potlach, the Potlach Senior Citizens Club, the Potlach Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Wold War 1 Veterans Auxiliary in Moscow.

She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, quilting and crocheting. She also helped raise two nieces and two nephews, keeping her home open to anyone in need.

Survivors include four sons, Marlyn Cochrane of Lewiston, Foy Cochrane of Princeton, Charles and Duane Cochrane, both of Potlach; one brother, Preston Bunney of Princeton; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 13 stepgreat-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and nine stepgreat-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Leila, in 1922, one brother Glenn Bunney, and one sister, Mary Cochrane.

The family suggests memorials to the Potlach Ambulance Fund or Scenic No. 6 Park at Potlach. Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse is in charge of the arrangements.
