BRILL, ELSIE BUNN, 94 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at her home in Bluff Ridge after suffering with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on June 19, 1913 to Joe and Maudie Harmon Bunn. She was one of 13 children. Mrs. Brill was active in her church, Arnold's Chapel Methodist, and the Bluff Ridge community. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, canning and sharing vegetables with her neighbors. Due to her illness over the last few years, she had not been physically able to be involved in the community and church activities as she would have liked. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Brill is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Paul Brill; daughters, Carolyn Brill of Bluff Ridge, AL, Janice B. (Marty) Hood of Kennesaw, GA; son, Rodger P. Brill of McCalla, AL; brothers, Emmett Bunn of Bluff Ridge, AL and L.H. Bunn of Ventura, CA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and our loving caregivers, Imogene Dagnan and Kim Howard, to whom we give a special thanks. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home, with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, February 7, 2008, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Bessemer's Family Comfort Hospice, Carolyn, Vickie, Felicia, Lisa and Brother Bill, for the love and care they gave to our loved one.
