Jon was born August 31, 1937, in Wichita, Kansas in a prodigious dust storm. He grew up in Augusta, Kansas, where he graduated from Augusta High School. Jon attended University of Kansas and served in the USAF. Jon spent 27 years as a city planner for Littleton, Colorado. He was also a deacon in the Russian Orthodox Church.
Jon was a wonderful person: kind, smart, funny, and adorable. He was very loved by his family and will be terribly missed.
