HYSELL Wauneta Deloris Hysell, 91, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Feb. 10, 2008, in Destin, Fla. Mrs. Hysell was born April 16,1916, in Iowa to the late Clarence and Pearl Hines. She met and married William L. Hysell, and together they moved to Pascagoula in 1941. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula, serving as secretary for the Youth Sunday School Department. She was also a member of Pascagoula Garden Club and the Moose Lodge. She loved cooking for neighbors and friends and was proud to be part of Pascagoula until Katrina forced her to relocate to Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1980, William Lafayette Hysell; a sister, Wandeline Stouts, and a brother, Haven Hines.

She is survived by a son, Roliand Hysell, and his wife, Reta, of Pascagoula, and a daughter, Marlene Lopez and her husband, Robert J. of Shalimar, Fla.; four grandchildren, Robert Anthony Lopez and wife, Deborah of Meridian, Miss., Julie Blake of Pascagoula, Gene Hysell of Robertsdale, Ala., and Jennifer Pry and husband, Kevin of Gautier, Miss.; six greatgrandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Pascagoula at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service with Rev. Dennis Ray Smith officiating.

Interment will conclude services at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, Miss.
