James Edward Wisdom, Sr., age 87 of Obion died Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 01:00 PM on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Obion. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 2 from 05:00 PM until 08:00 PM at the church. Rev. Michael Julian will officiate with burial to follow in the Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.
Mr. Wisdom was born May 4, 1935 in Trimble, the son of the late Odie and Annie (Adcock) Wisdom. He was a factory employee of the former Lear Sigler plant in Union City.
He is survived by his wife Wanda (Palmer) Wisdom of Obion, two sons James E. Wisdom, Jr. of Union City, and Tracy (Simone) Wisdom of Union City, five daughters Tammy (Ronnie) Brown of Rives, Terry Martin of Rives, Robin (Tom) Shepherd of Hendersonville, Sheila (David) Scobey of Obion, Ginger (Jeff) Wilson of Lebanon and two sisters Barbara Moss and Faye Coleman both of Trimble, 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
