Verna Mae Duncan, 86 years, 4 months, and 27 days old, passed away on March 29, 2023.



Verna was born November 2, 1936 in Jackson, Missouri to Paul and Nola (Reed) Mizell.



Verna was a Christian and was baptized at a young age. She attended the Methodist Church when she was able.



Verna and Vencil were united in marriage on March 6, 1971 in Rockview, Missouri.



She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She liked to watch Professional Bull Riding, college basketball and the NBA. She also loved her little Yorkee, Zeus.



Verna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vencil in 2005.



Verna is survived by her daughter, Diane Converse and husband, Richard; three grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Greg, Ashlie, and Jon, III; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Jullian; and many other relatives and friends.



Burial of cremains will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery in Gainesville, Missouri at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Lilly Ridge Cemetery. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
