Roy Foss, the son of Gustav and Carrie Boss of Eagle Township, was born in 1879. He married Selma Sletmoe of Abercrombie and they were the parents of two sons, Glenn (Pinky) and Raymond. Roy managed the Farmers Mercantile Store for a time and had the Standard Oil bulk dealership. He died in 1957 at age 60. Selma died in 1973 at age 79.
