Clyde Leroy Lott, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 21, 2022, at Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg, Idaho.
Clyde was born February 16, 1930, in Ucon, Idaho, to Leroy Franklin Lott and Lillian Lester Bills Lott. He grew up and attended schools in Lincoln, Idaho.
On April 28, 1950, he married Sherry Godfrey in Lincoln. In 1954, their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Clyde and Sherry made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Clyde worked as a farmer and truck driver.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed horses, tractors, and trucks.
Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Lott of Idaho Falls; sons, Randy (Diane) Lott of Idaho Falls, Steven (Emily) Lott of Idaho Falls, and Douglas Lott of Kearns, UT; daughter, Diana (Judy) Lott of West Valley, UT; sisters, Joy Mortensen of Wapello, ID and Patricia Van Wagoner of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Ronald Lott of Idaho Falls; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lillian Lott; son, Michael Lott; grandson, Anthony Lott; granddaughter, Christine Lott; brothers, Roger, Robert, and Vernon Lott; and sister, Susan Humphries.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Milo Ward, 12127 North 75th East, with Bishop Jason Watts officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Milo Cemetery.
