Wade was the sixth child born to the late Thomas S. And Ruth A. (Smith) Munyon. He spent his entire childhood in Glendale, Oregon where he attended public schools.
Wade enjoyed fishing, working on cars - doing mechanical work and cleaning them meticulously. He was an electrician by trade and worked a number of years in the lumber mills as a superintendent.
He was married over 54 years to the love of his life Paula. They had one daughter Lisa Lavon.
Wayde loved animals and had many dogs and cats during his life. His child hood dog was Frisky. A few of his other dogs were Timmy, Copper, Amity, Micky, Boo. Near and dear to Wayde's heart was Yogi.
