Dedication of Cpl Steven R Koch/POW-MIA Memorial ... Dad trying to console lynne

Lynne C Koch ~ 5-6-2010 ~ , she being a causalty of the pain of a lost brother who protected our country and freedom.

'In a situation of this caliber, the heart is inconsolable. It is torn in shreds, and it weeps forevermore. We all have lost many and we all feel that these days are but a mystery. One which leaves us wandering through a labyrinth of grief, denial, anger, and confusion to no avail. We find ourselves weeping, grieving, loathing, and yet we move forward. We do not move on. We are far too incapable. For our mundane lives have been tragically ripped from our beings. When once a sunrise meant so many new beginnings, it now rises to merely blossom what's left of the flowers at the ending of a season. I find no glory in this sunrise, no comfort. I find no hope in this new day. My brother is gone." ~ Lynne Koch
