Born Nov. 1, 1890, the daughter of the late William and Martha Vaught Jacobs, she was a member of the Central Hill Baptist Church, Wirt County, and Daughters of America, Rockport.
She is survived by three sons, Lester C. Brown at home, William E. Brown of Parkersburg, and Virgil L. Brown of Arcadia, FL.; one daughter Mrs. Bessie Stephens of Dunbar; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband W. Fred Brown in 1962.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Kimes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
