MRS. E. L. FULBRIGHT DIES NEAR SLEEPER
Mrs. E. R. Fulbright died early Friday morning at the family home near Sleeper aged over 83 years.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Palmer's Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. M. L. Koch, pastor of the M. E. Church, South, assisted by the Rev. Ailor, pastor of the M. E. Church at Sleeper.
Burial was in the City cemetary.
Mrs. Fulbright is survived by her aged husband, two daughters; Mrs. Melvin Davis, of Springdale, Ark; and Mrs. Raymond Crow, of Beaumont, Texas, two sons, Guy Fulbright of Long Beach, California and John Fulbright of Beaumonth, Texas. All attended the funeral except Guy.
Another daughter, Mrs. Monta Atchley, died several years ago.
Miss Frances Oliver was married to Ephriam R. Fulbright, January 25, 1875 and they established a home on a farm near the Bethel Camp Ground on the Dry Glaize and that had been their home for more than 60 years.
Mrs. Fulbright early in life joined the M.E. Church at Bethel Camp Ground and later when the church organization was moved to Sleeper continued her membership there.
The Fulbright home has always been noted for hospitality and for an interest in all church and community activities.
Among the relatives and friends in addition to the immediate family coming for the funeral were: Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Fulbright, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Swyers, Mrs. Ella Fulbright and Mr. and Mrs. Wade Fulbright and daughter, all of Springfield.
