Mr. Anthony "Tony" O'Dell Bostic, age 45, of Swords Creek, Va., passed away Friday (February 15, 2008) in Weston. Born April 19, 1962 in Richlands, Va., he was a son of O'dell and Emily L. Kennedy Bostic. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a 1980 graduate of Honaker High School. He was currently employed as a roof support foreman at Heintzmann Corporation in Richlands, Va.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Didema Bostic; and his maternal grandparents, Trula and George Kennedy.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 27 years, Deborah Bond Bostic of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Natasha and Hufford Joyce, II of Swords Creek; one son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Deanna Bostic of Cedar Bluff; two grandchildren, Chadwick O'Dell Joyce and Luke Anthony Bostic; two sisters, Dena Anders and husband, Robert and Beverly Burke and husband, Johnny, all of Swords Creek, Va.; two brothers, Mark Bostic and wife, Robin and Jeffrey Bostic and wife, Patricia, all of Swords Creek; one half-brother, Allen Hubbard and wife, Dortha of Swords Creek; one expected granddaughter and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Va., with the Revs. Barry and Debra Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va.

Pallbearers will be Lanny Miller, Calvin Dye, Dean Miller, Josh Hubbard, Tommy Wilson, and Hunter Joyce.

Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.
