AARON "HACKSAW" WATSON
November 6, 1966 ~ March 5, 2023 (age 56)

Aaron Watson, 56, of Broken Bow, OK passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born November 6, 1966 in Talihina, OK to parents Raymond Watson and LaVerne (Edwards) Watson.

He and Courtesy Johnson were united in marriage on October 5, 2019 in Broken Bow, OK.

Aaron was a devoted husband, father and "Pawpaw" who cherished his time spent with his family and numerous friends. He worked for Tyson as a Live Haul truck driver for thirty-four years. He was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing, wood burning, camping, grilling and having cookouts with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and LaVerne Watson; grandson, Charlie Leathers; brother, George Watson; sisters, Shirley Rojas, Doris Gonzales, Virginia Johnson and Mary Hurlocker.

Aaron leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Courtesy Watson of the home; mother of his children, Marie Thomas of Grannis, AR; children, Tamara and Dillon Leathers of Lockesburg, AR, Shelly Parmer and Teddy of Cove, AR, Scotty Swift and Kayla of Grannis, AR, Anja Faststring and Roger of Grannis, AR, Kendall Eeds, Eli Eeds and Phoenix Eeds all of the home;

Sisters, Arbella Sanchez and Juan of DeQueen, AR; brother, David Peters and Pam of Holly Creek Community; grandchildren, Aubrey & Lucas Leathers, Dakota Swift, Kason Parmer, Braydon Dowdy, Katie Erwin, Colton Swift, Salone Swift, Skyler and Charlie Tadlock, Ally Faststring and James Faststring; a host of nieces, nephews, other friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Graveside Funeral Services are set for 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2023 at New Bethel Cemetery, Lockesburg, AR with Pastor Homer Frachiseur officiating.
