Stephanie Lavon Morgan went to sleep on this earth and woke up in the presence of God and Heaven on Friday, March 3rd, 2023. There to welcome her to her eternal home was all the loved ones that went before her. However, the two that was the reason she wanted to go, was her beloved mom, Linda and her grandma, Louise. We can only imagine what that reunion was like. We don't think words can do justice to try and explain it. Steph had accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age.

Stephanie was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on July 16th, 1973, the daughter of Linda Sue (Carey) Woodward. She attended many schools in her early childhood and graduated from Turpin Oklahoma in 1991. She also attended Rhema Bible College and graduated in 2003. She worked at numerous jobs before she opened SugarBear Daycare in 2007 and ran it until 2020 when her battle with breast cancer started (by the way she beat it!)

Steph was always up for a good time and loved to laugh. She could mimic many people and always made you laugh. The one thing about Steph, was she loved hard and also, when she was mad, she was mad hard. To know Steph was to love her. She was known as Aunt Steph or Sis to all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Linda Sue (Carey) Woodward, dad, Dewey Woodward, second mom and grandma, Louise Carey, and paternal grandparents, JM and Evelyn Morgan.

She is survived by her brother, Marvin Morgan Jr. and fiancé Dana, her sister, Leann Gann and husband Willy, nieces, Paige Morgan, Tayte Swift and husband Jake, and Linlee Gann, nephews, Kyler Morgan, Landon and Wyatt Gann, one great nephew, Riley Dean Swift, her father, Marvin Morgan Sr. and a bonus sister, Tiffany Carroll, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Steph will be held on Friday, March 10th, 2023 at 10:00am at Reed-Culver Chapel with Reverend Gary Carey officiating and eulogy by Marvin Morgan Jr. She will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery in Hulbert.

Serving as pallbearers are Nathan Chester, Tony Chester, Bubba Ballou, Ryan Dale Carey, Michael Carey and Tim Carey. Honorary pallbearers include Kyler Morgan, Landon Gann, Wyatt Gann and Jake Swift.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
