Son of Johann F & Margarethe C D (Warnke) Feldman
Husband of Lena G Feldman
Father of Herman, Clarence R, Arthur E, Lloyd W, Ada L & Elma A

Born in Cole Camp, Benton, Missouri
In 1888, Ed moved with his parents to Crawford County, Kansas. He and Caroline(Lena) Gesche Timken were married on October 13, 1898.
In 1901 they moved to Meade County, Kansas where they filed a claim on 160 acres in Cimarron Township south of Meade. These claims were widely advertised, and many of the German families who had settled in Benton County, Missouri came to Meade County.

After five years, they sold their claim, and moved to Oklahoma. A year later they returned to Meade County. In 1916 they bought a farm just east of the present Meade State Lake. A few years later they moved into Meade where Ed worked as a carpenter until his retirement.

Ed and Lena were the parents of seven children, two dying in infancy, Herman in 1899 and Lloyd in 1909.
