June Martinec
June Daisy Martinec, nee Pray, 86, passed away on May 22, 2022.

Born on June 18, 1935 in Necedah WI, shortly after her twin sister Jean.

Adored wife of Richard for 50 years. Beloved mother to Pamela, Mark, Steven, Gregory and Robin. Dear grandmother to Sarah (Mike) Prokop, Ryan, Nicole (Tim), Christopher (Brittany), Danielle, Stephanie (Caleb) Wilmoth, Matthew (Maritza), Martin and Kaitlyn; and great-grandmother to Adam, Ethan, Aubrey, Penelope, Auron and Maverick. Treasured and favorite Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Many called her "June Bug". June had a true and generous heart of gold. She loved sewing, fabric and making quilts. Gardening, baking Christmas cookies, reading, collecting cow creamers and Lowell Davis figurines all brought her joy. Green was her favorite color, which turned into a hobby for collecting green jewelry. For the last year, she passed the time coloring, which she had a real talent for.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; son Gregory; grandson Ryan; parents; brother; and 8 sisters.

June always said she was "Born in June, named June, got married in June, and had a child in June". Now, we will lay her to rest in June next to the love of her life. A private family service will take place.
