Linda Kaye Sarren was born January 7, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Eli and Elizabeth (Johnson) Coffee. She grew up in Sunflower, and then Desoto, Kansas before her family moved to Tahlequah in 1963. Linda attended Tahlequah Public Schools. She was also a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

Linda met and married her husband, Vincent Eddie Sarren. They had two children, Vincent Jr. and Jody Renee.

Linda Sarren worked at the Cherokee Heritage Center during the summer months of her teenage years. She then worked at the Tahlequah City Hospital after graduating from college. She finished her career working for the Cherokee Nation until her retirement in 2020.

Linda Sarren is survived by two children: her beloved son, Vincent Sarren Jr. and her beloved daughter, Jody Renee Sarren; by three brothers: Leonard Coffee and his wife, Roberta of Cordelia, California, Jim Coffee and his wife, Mary of Columbus, Kansas, and Steven Coffee of Westville, and her sister, Deena Johnson of Tahlequah. She is also survived by three granddaughters: Brandi Sioux and her husband, Vidal Sparks of Tahlequah; Shalia Shay and her partner, Eagle Dancer King-Rich of Oklahoma City, and Nahni Sarren of Tahlequah, and many nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Sarren, her father Eli Coffee, her mother, Elizabeth (Johnson Coffee), and by two of her brothers, David Coffee and Robin Coffee; her great grandson, Sean Ray Sarren, and her great granddaughter, Z'ryiah King-Rich.

Linda has been a member of the Tahlequah Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for the past 49 years. Her fondest wish is to be reunited with her loved ones and friends who have fallen asleep in death.

A memorial service for Linda will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 2:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Brother Jarrod Railey and Brother John Neis officiating.
