Anna was the Great Farini's third wife. On travel documents in 1920 she is known as "Anna Farini". Her death record notes both Hunt and Farini as surnames.

His first wife was Mary Osborne, who died in 1862 after a tragic accident while performing with her husband in Havana, Cuba.

His second wife was Alice Carpenter, with whom he had two sons: William Leonard Hunt (b. 19 Feb 1874, aka Willie Leonard Farini) and Henry Ernest Hunt (b. 24 Feb 1874, aka Harry Ernest Farini). The couple divorced in 1880. In the divorce documents she is known as both Alice Farini and Alice Hunt. Grounds for divorce were adultery: Alice was the correspondent with a Charles Miller.
