ARCHIE COGGS Archie Coggs, 77, of 1834 S. 34th Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at the Santa Fe Hospital, Topeka, where he was admitted 10 days ago. He was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., and had lived in Kansas City, Kansas about 50 years. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church, 24th and Ruby, and a deacon there more than 45 years. He was employed at the Sinclair refinery 20 years before it was closed down. He was employed as a material handler at the Santa Fe Railroad about 15 years, retiring 12 years ago. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen. He was third precinct Republican committeeman for many years. Mr. Coggs leaves his wife Mrs Ethel J. Coggs, of the home and a son, Archie B. Coggs ,whose address is unknown. Services will be at 10 a m Thursday at the church; burial in Maple Hill Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday at the English-Franklin chapel.
