ELLEN GRISAFFE OBITUARY
Ellen Aucoin Grisaffe, native of Bellerose, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 83. She was a longtime and faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lay Leader, and sang in the choir. Ellen was in the real estate industry for 35 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, crossword puzzles, and playing scrabble. Ellen is survived by her loving children, Joel Grisaffe (Cindy), Adele Grisaffe Gill, Allison Grisaffe Bourke (Glenn), Alecia Grisaffe, Blaise Grisaffe (Tracie), and Monica Grisaffe Meche (Wayne); 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Aucoin and Dale Aucoin (Annie); sister, Nell Aucoin Naquin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Grisaffe, Jr.; parents, Eugene and Hazel Rousseau Aucoin; granddaughter, Melissa Gill; and son-in-law, Barry Gill. A memorial gathering will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Ln., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70816, on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 9 am until memorial mass beginning at 10 am. A reception will follow at the St. Patrick Family Center. A private inurnment will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
