Funeral services for Mrs Emma Joiner, 68, who died Thursday morning following a long illness, will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Old White Church in Woodville with the Rev Mrs Jennie Lemonds officiating. Burial will be in Woodville Cemetery.
A native of Piedmont, Ala, she lived in Tallahassee for the past ten years.
Survivors include her husband, George Joiner of St Marks; three sons, Billy of Tallahassee, Sam of Columbus, Ga and John Chamption of Plantersville, Ala; four daughters, Mrs Joe Bragg of Montgomery, Mrs Alice Alcorn of Tallahassee, Mrs Morgan Rogers of Lincoln, Ala, and Mrs Lucille Borders of Anniston, Ala; her father, Tom Ray of Piedmont, Ala; one sister, Mrs Carrie Hicks of Piedmont; five brothers, Austin and Willie Ray of Anniston, Oliver of Weaver, Ala, Colvin of Jacksonville, Ala, and Floyd Ray of Piedmont; 33 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
