HONORABLY ACQUITTED
The BEE'S Police Court report yesterday stated that B. Lasky was convicted of disturbing the peace. Mr. Jay Cummings, who was arrested at the instance of Lasky on a similar charge, was honorably acquitted by the Judge.
The Bees generally refrains from displaying the facts of such trivial cases to the public, but will here state that Cummings was in the act of separating two boys who were fighting, when Lasky, the father of one of the boys came up and insisted they should fight using vulgar language himself in addressing Cummings.
Each party had the other arrested for disturbing the peace.
On the testimony introduced the Judge discharged Cummings and found Lasky guilty.
