John served in Co. B, 1st Arkansas Cavalry, as a private from 31 Aug. 1863 - 23 Aug. 1865.
Children of John and Lodemae were: Edward, Mary, Pearlina, Dona, Garrett, Susan and Effie BOSWELL.
After the civil war ended, John, Lodemae and family moved to Greene Co., MO, near Springfield, and later to Barry Co., MO.
John d. 29 Jan. 1923. Both John and Lodemae are buried in the Osa Cemetery, Barry Co., MO.
Margaret COLCLASURE d. 6 July 1877, Washington Co., AR, and is buried in the Strain Cemetery near Elkins.
Susan COLCLASURE m. 12 Jan. 1865 James FINCHER, son of Hiram W. FINCHER and Harriet ?.
James served in Co. D. 1st Arkansas Cavalry.
Susan d. 23 June 1914, both Susan and James are buried in the Strain Cemetery.
Jacob COLCLASURE m. 18 Sep. 1858 Washington Co., AR, Lucinda WILLIAMS, daughter of John WILLIAMS of TN.
Jacob served in Co. D. 1st Arkansas Cavalry.
Children of Jacob and Lucinda were: Hannah, Margaret, Wealthy, John, Abraham, Becky, Makala, Sarah, William, Moses and Elsie COLCLASURE.
Jacob d. 1913 and Lucinda d. 1917, both buried Salem Cemetery.
Note: The name COLCLASURE dates back to 1729 and Johann Heinrich KALKGOLSSER, his wife Anna Maratetha, his children and possibly two brothers who came to America on "Mach's Refugee Ship" from Germany and settled in PA. The name is spelled many ways.
