The body of Eli A. Baer, former resident of Mulberry, was brought to that town Friday from Ravenna, Michigan, and taken to the home of a niece, Mrs. Clinton Haag.
Mr. Baer died Thursday from a complication of ailments. He was 75 years old.
Funeral services will be held in the Reform Church this afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Whiteman officiating.
Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery.
Mr. Baer is survived by the daughter, Mrs. James Martz of Ravenna, Michigan; one son, Dallas of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and one brother, Moses Baer. Three years ago, Mr. Baer, left Mulberry to make his home with his daughter in Michigan.

Mr. Baer was a life long member of the Reformed church and for 20 years was a deacon in St. Luke's church near Mulberry. In 1873, he married Ellen Cooper, who died in 1908. Of ten children born to the couple, only two are living, Mrs. Martz and a son, Dallas Baer, living near Mulberry.
