Mr. Baer died Thursday from a complication of ailments. He was 75 years old.
Funeral services will be held in the Reform Church this afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Whiteman officiating.
Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery.
Mr. Baer is survived by the daughter, Mrs. James Martz of Ravenna, Michigan; one son, Dallas of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and one brother, Moses Baer. Three years ago, Mr. Baer, left Mulberry to make his home with his daughter in Michigan.

Eli A. Baer, an old time resident of Mulberry, died July 22 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Marts, in Ravenna, Michigan, after several weeks illness. He was in his 76th year. Mr. Baer was a life long member of the Reformed church and for 20 years was a deacon in St. Luke's church near Mulberry. In 1873, he married Ellen Cooper, who died in 1908. Of ten children born to the couple, only two are living, Mrs. Martz and a son, Dallas Baer, living near Mulberry.
The body was brought to the home of Clinton Haag at Mulberry and the funeral was conducted from the Reformed church there. Rev. Whiteman officiating. Burial in St. Luke's cemetery.
