Lorene Louy, 87, of Brookland died Wednesday, February 27 at Brookland, Arkansas. She was born in Arcadia, Kansas. She was retired from St. Bernards Medical Center and was a member of Brookland Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Clifford Louy of St. Peters, Missouri; two daughters, Shirley Lemons and husband Doyle Lemons of Memphis, Tennessee and Doris McHalffey of Brookland; five grandchildren, Darla Edgar of Brookland, Dana Duvall of Trumann, Kip Lemons of Memphis, Tennessee, Kendra Shenkel of Nashville, Tennessee, and Michelle Louy of St. Louis, Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jackie Kelley and J.W. Kelley both of Fresno, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Louy.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Terry Gage officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Wayne Farley, Dennis Price, H.J. Price, Danny Akers, Lynn Price and Curtis Stokes.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
