He was born May 21, 1937 in Allison, Arkansas to Frank and Effie (Sutterfield) Harris.

He was a husband, father, and grandfather, an Army veteran and a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co.

He is survived by his wife, Jana Harris, sons; Michael Pruitt of Mtn. View, C.B. Jolley of Memphis, Tenn., and Joe Jolley of Bono, Ark.; daughters, Brandi Reeves of Jonesboro and Karen Thayer of Memphis; one brother, Marvin Richardson; one sister, Minnie Chalmers of Ohio; and three grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, and seven sisters.

Mr. Harris was cremated and there is no visitation.

Memorial service is 3 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View (870)269-3462 with Bro. David Campbell officiating.

Interment will be at a later date.
