Henry Goebel, Vistan 24 Years, Dies at Hospital: VISTA - Henry Goebel, 72, of 748 Grapevine Road, died Monday at Palomar Memorial Hospital in Escondido. Goebel was born July 25, 1888 in Nebraska and made his home in Vista for 24 years. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Vista Chapel Mortuary. Requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be at Eternal Hills Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Val Goebel of San Diego; two daughters, Mrs. Al Mayer of Vista, and Mrs. Paul Gettings of Nebraska; a brother, Fred Goebel of Nebraska and 15 grandchildren.
