Charles T. Featherston, 93, was born June 19, 1906 in Cascade, Iowa, the son of William James Stewart and Mary C. (Dahlem) Featherston. He married the former Clellah Farley in February 1926 in Dubuque, Iowa; she died in 1970. He married Minnie Wurst in April 1972; she died in 1982. He was employed by Colonial Bread Company as a baker for many years before owning and operating Featherston's Donut Shop for more than 25 years. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Rockford Odd Fellows Lodge 140. Survivors include sons Charles J. (Lillie) of Candlewick Lake, Robert F. (Doretta) of Gays Mills, Wisc., William J. (Joanne) of Rockford and Paul J. (Virginia) of Freeport; daughters, M. Joanne (Gerald) Bates of Clearwater, Fla., Darlene E. (Robert) Wick of Lincoln, Ill. and Rosalie M. Hewett of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; 37 Grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Hudzinski of Rockford, Martha Stein of Rockton and Lucille McElmeel of Ridott. Predeased by parents William James Stewart Featherston & Mary C. Dahlem Featherston, brother's Joseph and William; and sister Rosemary Peterson.
