Mrs. E.C. Eugene Charles Burow nee Adeline Laas of Comfort passed away on Thursday, January 26th at the age of 98 years.
Adeline Laas was born on February 16th, 1924 in Welfare, Kendall County, Texas to Perry J. and Alma H. Wohlfahrt Laas
She attended school in Welfare and graduated from Boerne High School as Valedictorian of her class after which she attended Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos, Texas. She was employed by the Civil Service for several years.
She married E.C. Eugene Charles Burow on July 16th, 1966 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Comfort, Texas
Mrs. Burow is survived by her son: Kenneth Burow of Comfort
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother: Dorothy Roeder, Margie Bartel and Perry J. Laas Jr.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to the Comfort V.F.D. or to the charity of your choice.
