Funeral services for Annie W. Norred will be held at 1 pm on Friday, January 27, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Algiers, 9559 Florida Blvd, Walker, visitation will begin at 10 am until time of the service. Interment will follow at James Chapel Cemetery in Holden.
Mrs. Norred was born on April 29, 1939, in Holden, LA. She went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at her residence and was 83 years surrounded by family, she worshiped at First Baptist Church of Algiers and was a retired clerk with the U S Postal Service. She enjoyed being outdoors in her flower garden caring for her plants. She also had a great love for family and lived for the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bruce C. Norred, her father Utah Wascom, her mother Nettie Efferson, sisters Evon Ballard, Lucille Lewis, and Johnnie Cutrer, son-in-law Curtis Badeaux, great grandson Colt Bruce Wilson.
Survivors include her children Kenneth Ed Norred, Patricia Ann Gueho (Danny), Lisa Ann Badeaux, and Stephanie Bertone (Louis), grandchildren Lori McKnight (Ronald), Danny Gueho Jr. (Sarah), Brittany Wilson (Eddie), Lauren Bertone, and Mallory Vaughn (Jacob), great grandchildren Abigail, Amelia, Ethan, and Annabelle, step-great grandchildren Emma, and Olivia, sister Bonnie Hoover, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
